PICKUPSFULL-SIZE BRONCOSLAND CRUISERS

THE SHOP

Good bones.
Plenty of road left.

We’re still getting the shop ready. The idea is simple: start with a truck that has good bones and make it one you can drive every day, not just on Sundays.

’70s and ’80s pickups, American and Toyota. Full-size Broncos. 60- and 80-series Land Cruisers. The trucks we love.

SMALL TRUCKS COUNT TOO.

A little Toyota
with a lot left.

A 1982 SR5 with the sun still in its paint. We’d leave the patina alone and make sure everything underneath is right.

UNDER THE HOOD

A good engine
is only the start.

The GM 5.3 Vortec is one of our starting points. Donors are common, the controls match the engine, and parts are easy to find when you need them.

The rest matters just as much: cooling, gearing, brakes, steering, and the little things that make an old truck easy to live with. We plan the whole truck around the way you’ll use it.

A TOYOTA HEART

Lexus smooth.
Backroad ready.

The 1UZ-FE earned its name in the Lexus LS400. A compact aluminum V8 with four cams and a loyal following, it’s also found a second life in Toyota pickups and Land Cruisers.

The swap is built around the truck: mounts, sump clearance, transmission, wiring, and cooling all have to work together. That’s where the shop work begins.
